Since 2011, Lumina has operated a dedicated office in Warsaw, leading one of the most significant post-war exploration campaigns in Poland.
In partnership with Polish geologists and local drilling contractors, Lumina has discovered and documented three major copper-silver deposits near the towns of Nowa Sól, Mozów, and Sulmierzyce. These discoveries, totaling over 21 million tonnes of copper and 1.5 Boz of silver, position Poland as a key emerging source of critical metals in Europe.

Lumina Metals has carried out the largest successful exploration project in Poland since the discovery of KGHM’s Lubin-Sieroszowice copper and silver deposit in the 1950s.

Innovative approach to data interpretation and targeting new, untested prospective areas
Lumina's work has led to the identification of the Northern Copper Belt, a new mineralized corridor located north of the well-documented Lubin-Sieroszowice copper belt and three new greenfield discoveries. This emerging belt hosts the three newly defined deposits: Nowa Sól, Mozów and Sieroszowice, containing a total of over 21 Mt of copper and , as well as additional targets with strong potential for further discoveries.
These results affirm Lumina’s strategy of uncovering world-class resources through rigorous science, innovation, and collaboration with Polish business partners and scientists.
As a result of the investments carried out, the many holes drilled and numerous studies, three new rich deposits of copper and silver were discovered: Mozów and Nowa Sol (Lubuskie Voivodeship) and Sulmierzyce Północ (Greater Poland Voivodeship), containing a total of more than 21 million tons of copper 1.5 Boz of silver.
